CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS

Scarborough
Scarborough, the vibrant capital of Tobago, blends wild rainforests with soft beaches and coastal rhythm. Browse colourful markets filled with spices and crafts, visit Fort King George for sweeping island views, or simply relax on nearby sands with the sound of steelpan in the air. It’s a port where nature, culture and calm Caribbean spirit all meet.

Willemstad
Willemstad charms from first glance - a waterfront lined with pastel buildings and Dutch-Caribbean grace. Walk across the Queen Emma Bridge, explore the island’s maritime past at the museum or enjoy open-air cafés and local markets in the historic Otrobanda district. With colour, culture and calm all within reach, this port lingers in memory long after you sail on.

St John
With its rainbow-hued buildings and colonial landmarks, St John’s is a vibrant welcome to Antigua. Shop local crafts at Heritage Quay, visit the striking Cathedral or take a short ride to the island’s 365 beaches - each with soft sand, clear water and its own story to tell. A bright and easy-going stop, full of sunshine and local life.

“Help desk no help”

We had a problem with the WiFi package. It wasn't clear how it worked and we were charged over £100 as my husband thought he just needed to sign in with his birthday date not mine. The help desk was not very helpful when we questioned our bill. The first person we spoke to told us to come back when the boys were there? When we spoke to the boys they explained the error we had made. Apparently, the chap who sold me the package was the IT manager. He did not explain it very well and they could see it was a genuine error but the stance they took was very defensive and kept saying it's your fault. They did knock two days charges off but we were still charged a lot. However, my main gripe was their attitude, especially the manager as he did not explain it properly. We never found the help desk to be very helpful, unless you wanted to buy anything. We also had a problem with the heating in the cabin. It was so hot. It took few days for someone to come. When he did he did something in the ceiling with tape and said he'd be back in a couple of days. Never saw him again. The vegetarian food was quite poor. We have sailed on Ambition twice and the food was good, so this was very disappointing. One evening my husband didn't like the one vegetarian option and asked if there was an alternative and was told no. We splashed out and went to the Saffron for a Chinese night. The restaurant was cold and we were told that someone was coming to sort it out. They never did. The main vegetarian meal was chow main, which was also the side dish that everyone got. It was a rip off.
