Gemma Bassy

Gemma Bassy has over 17 years’ experience in customer service leadership within the travel industry.  Specialising in staff development and performance management, she began her travel career at Cruise Maritime Voyages where, as Head of Customer Services, she oversaw all aspects of the pre-cruise passenger journey. Gemma joined Ambassador Cruise Line as Guest Services Manager before being promoted to the position of Head of Pre-and-Post Cruise with responsibility for maintaining and improving the levels of service and information Ambassador provides to guests in the lead up to and following their cruise. In her role as Head of Administration, Gemma maintains responsibility for Guest Services and Guest Relations as well as Ambassador’s corporate administration, legal and secretarial work. Additionally, she coordinates the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance  (ESG) portfolio, risk register and other administrative projects.
