Ambassador Cruise Line launches Ambassador Guarantee

Very special promise allows first-time cruisers to receive a full refund if they don't enjoy themselves on their first Ambassador sailing

Ambassador Cruise Line has launched the Ambassador Guarantee, a business initiative that will reimburse any new-to-cruise customer who fails to enjoy the amazing entertainment, outstanding cuisine and exceptional service the premium value, no fly operator is proud to offer to all its guests.

The premium value, no fly cruise line continues to offer unbeatable value with some of the most competitive prices in the industry, and its offering is set to grow even more compelling with the introduction of the Ambassador Guarantee. Complete with the tagline ‘Enjoy Yourself on Your First Cruise - or Your Money Back!’, the Ambassador Guarantee is applicable to new guests booking an itinerary of four nights or more on its fleet of two ships, Ambience and Ambition. Ambassador are confident guests will enjoy their first cruise or they will offer to cover the costs of the guest's return transport from the next available port to their point of embarkation and issue a full refund for the cruise fare paid.

Specialising in no-fly itineraries and offering adult-only sailings combined with multigenerational cruises in school holidays, the introduction of the Ambassador Guarantee falls during Ambassador’s Turn of Year sales campaign, which runs until 13 February 2024. The Peaks promotion includes half price deals on all drinks packages in the 2024/25 season; a range of incredible special offers on selected sailings; kids from £99 on multigenerational itineraries; great group offers; and solo supplements on four selected cabin types including Junior Suites on certain sailings available from as little as 25% supplement. 

TOY offers are available for sailings on both Ambassador ships, with Ambience operating from her home port of London Tilbury and Ambition sailing from seven additional regional ports - Newcastle, Dundee, Edinburgh Leith, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol, Falmouth – as well as London Tilbury.

Ambassador Guarantee - Terms and Conditions

The Ambassador Guarantee is available to guests that have not previously cruised with Ambassador Cruise Line and are booking their first cruise aboard Ambience or Ambition. It is valid for new bookings only made after 19 January 2024 for a duration of four nights or more. To take advantage of the Guarantee you must state your intention to leave the cruise, and the reason why, to the Hotel Director within 24 hours of your embarkation.  Our onboard team will endeavour to resolve any issues within 24 hours from the time you notify them. If a solution cannot be agreed, Ambassador will cover the cost of transport to your point of embarkation at the next available port. The mode of repatriation will be at Ambassador’s discretion e.g. flights, rail, taxi plus one hotel night if needed. Ambassador is only responsible for the travel / hotel cost and nothing else, all other costs must be covered by you. Ambassador will refund the fare that you have paid for your cruise and pro-rated drinks package costs only. We will not refund any extra costs you have incurred on board of a personal nature i.e. drinks, gifts, shopping, laundry, spa, communications etc. We will not reimburse port parking or travel costs to the terminal or for items not purchased directly through Ambassador, such as overnight accommodation, travel insurance, visas or health certificates. Refunds will be made via the same channel that you used to book your cruise e.g. directly with Ambassador or via a travel agent. Refunds may take up to 14 working days to process. The Guarantee does not affect Ambassador’s standard booking conditions or pre-departure cancellation policy. Guarantee not available on Festive events or cruises under four nights. Not applicable to employees of Ambassador and their friends and family, suppliers, journalists or any prize winners or concession booking.
