Ambassador Cruise Line has today launched its 2024/25 season, which will see the premium value, no-fly cruise line offer guests the ‘warmest welcome at sea’ as Ambience sets sail for a third season accompanied by her sister ship, Ambition, which will embark on her second year of itineraries.
The all-new season will see Ambassador increase its number of regional departures from 32 to 39 versus 2023/24, offering more choice than ever before to guests from across the UK. Regional gateways include Ambassador’s home port of London Tilbury, as well as Newcastle Tyne, Dundee, Edinburgh Leith, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol Royal Portbury and Falmouth.
Ambience and Ambition will sail to 34 countries across six continents in 2024/25, calling at 127 ports while travelling almost 150,000 nautical miles.
Itineraries have been curated to offer guests a wide choice of unique cruise experiences that cater for all types of traveller. Ambassador’s smaller, energy-efficient fleet are (IMO) Tier III compliant, putting them in the top 10%-15% of sustainable ships worldwide. As both ships meet the highest industry emission standards, they can access some of the world’s best-kept secrets in the most environmentally friendly (and affordable) way possible.
Experiences include a range of authentic sailings for the over 50s market including round-Britain itineraries and cruises to the Norwegian Fjords, Mediterranean, Caribbean, West Indies and more; both Ambition and Ambience sailing in tandem to the Normandy coast, offering guests the chance to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings; two summer multigenerational and a new Easter multigenerational itinerary for all the family to enjoy; and a selection of Theme Cruises, complete with a wealth of legends of the stage and screen, guest experts, lecturers and entertainers set to bring those themes to life.
The season also includes a selection of ‘Short Sailings’, offering guests a choice of European City Breaks during the year as well as the chance to visit some of the continent’s most popular Christmas Markets during one of Ambassador’s popular Festive Getaways.

ABBA Voyage Prize Draw
Booking must be made on any sailing by 31 May 2023. Tickets for ABBA Voyage will be able to be booked from 90 days before a guest’s cruise date after final balance has been paid. Winners will be notified by 30 June 2023 and booking can be made when tickets are available for the chosen date. We reserve the right to cancel the tickets if a guest cancels their booking. Prize cannot be transferred, refunded and has no monetary value.

Ambience carries up to 1,400 passengers in 798 cabins. 23% of these have balconies and 50 are suites with up to 52m2 of living space. Ambition will carry up to 1,200 passengers in 714 cabins. 125 of these have balconies and 113 are suites with up to 62m2 of living space.

2024/25 Fares
Ambassador’s Standard Fares include full board cuisine, afternoon teas, daytime activities, amazing entertainment and full use of the onboard leisure facilities. Guests have the option of upgrading to the Ambassador Fare, which includes all the benefits of our Standard Fares as well as the top Ambassador Expedition Drinks Package, offering premium and house brand spirits and wines, all gratuities & service charges and more. Children sailing on the Multigenerational itineraries can benefit from the Adventurer’s Package, which offers them unlimited soft drinks while onboard.
Cabins
Ambassador offers a number of different accommodation grades, varying in size and deck locations, but no matter what cabin guests choose, each is guaranteed with an impressive array of amenities and personal touches. Cabins are more spacious to cater to today’s climate, averaging 17-18m2 on Ambience and 20m2 on Ambition, with cabin types broadly classified as Standard, Superior, Premium or De Luxe.

From Executive Chefs to talented bar staff, dining and drinks on board are designed with guests in mind. Ambassador offers a range of outstanding cuisine to guests across its two ships, from exceptional gastronomic experiences to casual dining and snack offerings. Carefully crafted menus blend traditional fare with locally inspired dishes, offering guests exceptional service and authentic flavours every day of their sailing. Whether guests like it shaken or stirred, each ship has numerous venues to suit every mood, from speakeasy-style establishments and stylish cocktail bars to pubs and venues featuring cabarets, gameshows and light entertainment.
Amazing Entertainment
Ambassador guests can enjoy a host of amazing entertainment including quizzes, crafting, plays, cabaret, West End style shows and much more while onboard. These include an exciting entertainment programme at The Palladium featuring song, dance, comedy and storytelling, courtesy of the Ambassador Theatre Company, as well as arts, crafts and activity areas, card rooms and libraries, shopping gallerias, fitness centres, swimming pools and the Green Sea Spa, complete with a sauna, steam room, hair salon and a range of restorative spa treatments.
Solo Travel
Ambassador has allocated 89 single occupancy cabins on board both Ambience and Ambition at a special single supplement against the equivalent twin fare based on five selected single cabin categories. For those solo travellers sailing for six nights or more, Ambassador also offers a special programme of events, including a Welcome Cocktail Party. Guests can meet like-minded guests and connect with the friendly crew, whilst creating a community at sea.
