The beautiful country of Norway has been captivating the hearts of travellers for many years and we are not surprised at all by that. With some incredible natural landscapes, rich culture and more, there are plenty of reasons every person should want to visit Norway. Easy access to nature

One of the most staggering things about Norway is just how connected the whole country is to its natural landscapes. With beautiful fjords, lakes, glaciers, dense forests and snow-covered mountain peaks, there are a plethora of amazing sights for those who visit. And, what’s even more impressive is just how easily accessible these marvels are from major towns and cities. You’ll only need to get a few minutes out of a town centre to be sat in the heart of the stunning natural landscapes and, as you travel between ports on a cruise ship, you’ll have to force yourself away from views from your balcony or the ship deck. What’s more, when travelling keep a keen eye out for local wildlife, from puffins to whales and even reindeer!

Norway might not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking about countries with a strong food scene, however, it shouldn’t be overlooked. Their dishes let the fresh ingredients shine and are perfect to warm you on a cold day. Somewhere that doesn’t rely on high-end dishes but simple, traditional dishes that are proven to put a smile on your face. Here, you can enjoy some fresh-caught seafood thanks to the stretching coastline and some decadent sweet treats for dessert.

Experience the Northern Lights

There is no doubt that the Northern Lights are an incredible experience and that’s why many have seeing them on their bucket list. Another amazing experience that fewer people know about is the midnight sun. A unique and surreal experience, the Midnight Sun is something everyone should see at some point in their lives. It casts a warm orange light over all of the surroundings and makes for some really amazing photo opportunities.
