Veteran and Help for Heroes Ambassador
After his life-changing air accident in 2007, the former SAS trooper has become a high-profile Ambassador for Help for Heroes and tireless campaigner for other charities.
He recently qualified as a Course Director at PADI - the highest instructor rating in the world’s largest diving organisation. He is a familiar face on the lecture circuit, has competed as a cyclist in the Invictus Games, completed the 3,000 mile Race Across America and taken Sensitivity: Operational part in many of the toughest challenges in extreme sports and outdoor pursuits. He is a mountain leader, all-terrain expedition leader, ski instructor, sky-diver, hot air balloon pilot – and medical miracle.
He has carried out extensive media work, including live television, plus many print and online features. In association with Penguin Books, Jamie recently published his powerful and inspirational biographical-memoir, Life On A Thread.
