Produced by Title Role Productions in collaboration with Ambassador, this 20-part series follows real people on their first taste of cruising – aboard our ships Ambition and Ambience – as they explore breathtaking European destinations.
SERIES SYNOPSIS
A brand new season of the popular series ‘THE CRUISE: FUN-LOVING BRITS AT SEA’ is about to set sail with broadcaster ‘5’. Produced by Title Role Productions in collaboration with Ambassador Cruise Line, the new 20-part daytime series welcomes a whole new group of intrepid travellers as they hop on board two of Ambassador’s cruise ships, Ambience and Ambition, for a week of fun both onboard and on land.
Beginning on the 29th September 2025 the series will air weekdays at 4pm and will also be available to stream on My5.
This new series welcomes married couple Glenys and Ian from Blackburn, no strangers to the cruising life they throw themselves into life onboard with everything from spa treatments to dance classes and when the ship docks at each destination, they’re keen to try new experiences from a pottery class to wine tasting!
Lifelong friends Kerri-Ann and Julie from Worthing are taking the time to strengthen their close friendship and celebrate a little milestone along the way! What treats will be in store?
For father and son duo, Graham and Lewis from Hull it’s their first time cruising and they grab the experience with both hands.
And loved up couple Bernie and Clive from Preston dive right into ship life with a host of new adventures. Clive also has something extra special up his sleeve for his wife. How will the surprise be received?
The Ambassador ships, Ambience and Ambition set sail from the UK to a host of destinations around Europe in this series, including Lorient and Le Verdon in France, Porto in Portugal and Cadiz in Spain.

Clive & Bernadette – The Lifelong Romantics
Married 50 years, Clive and Bernie from Lancashire have travelled widely. Now, these inseparable adventurers are trying their first cruise.

Sarah & Shin – The Role Reversal Pair
Bradford mother-daughter Sarah and Shin travel annually. Outgoing Shin’s cruised before, cautious Sarah hasn’t. This voyage may reverse their roles.
