DUNDEE PORT INFORMATION
Dundee port is located at the mouth of the River Tay on the east coast of Scotland, just a short walk from the city centre. Dundee is Scotland’s 4th biggest city with plenty of museums and attractions to enjoy.
GETTING HERE
There are plenty of ways to get to the Dundee Port, for your cruise from Dundee, including by car, taxi or pre-arranged coach. If you are travelling here by car, you can get your car parking permit arranged through us. For more information, see our detailed guide below.

BY ROAD
FROM THE NORTH - FROM THE A90:
At the roundabout take 2nd exit staying on A90 (Kingsway).
At Strathmartine roundabout take the 2nd exit remaining on A90 Kingsway.
At the next roundabout take the 4th exit onto Old Craigie Road.
Turn left onto Arbroath Road then right onto Dalgleish Road.
Turn right onto Broughty Ferry Road (A92).
Continue onto E Dock Street.
Turn left onto E Camperdown Street.
Continue straight ahead until you reach the Sea Cadets Building, turn left to enter the Port.
FROM DUNDEE CITY CENTRE (SLESSOR GARDENS):
Continue onto A991/A92 Dock Street.
At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right onto West Victoria Dock.
Take the 1st left onto Camperdown Street (City Quay).
Continue joining East Camperdown Street (temporary bollards will be removed to allow access)
At the Sea Cadets Building, turn right to enter the Port.
CAR PARK:
Forth Ports (Dundee) offer car parking which is located within the Port Area. Car parking must be pre-booked.

BY RAIL:
Dundee Railway Station is approximately 1.5 miles from the Passenger Arrivals Area. Taxis are usually situated at the station exit and it's only a short 5-minute drive to the Port. Alternatively, it is a 10 to15 minute walk along the City Quay to reach the Port.
BY AIR:
The closest airport to the Port of Dundee is Dundee airport which is only 4 miles away via the A85 and will take approximately 10 to15 minutes by car. Alternatively, Edinburgh airport is 55 miles away and will take approximately 1 hour 20 minutes via the M90/A90.
PICK UP/DROP OFF:
Pick up/drop off is located directly adjacent to the main terminal building. This is a small area. To avoid congestion, please only arrive at your designated embarkation time & only arrange pick up for your disembarkation time.
Pass through the Port Entrance Gate at East Camperdown Street and port personnel will direct you to the drop off/pick up zone beside the Terminal/Marquee. Here you will be further directed by a member of the Cruise Operations Team. Please note that space is limited in the drop off/pick up area, drivers must remain with their vehicle at all times. If animals are in the car (i.e. dogs), they must be kept inside the vehicle at all times. Children accompanying drivers must be kept closely supervised whilst in Port at all times.
