“Value for money,”

I thought the cruise was very good value, the food very good and the staff all very pleasant.. The entertainment was reasonable but very loud most of the girld singers seemed to think they had to fight the background music all the time, the music in the bars was rather monotonous, same people night after night. Day time activities pretty much the same as on most cruises. Overall a very nice cruise,

We had a problem with the WiFi package. It wasn't clear how it worked and we were charged over £100 as my husband thought he just needed to sign in with his birthday date not mine. The help desk was not very helpful when we questioned our bill. The first person we spoke to told us to come back when the boys were there? When we spoke to the boys they explained the error we had made. Apparently, the chap who sold me the package was the IT manager. He did not explain it very well and they could see it was a genuine error but the stance they took was very defensive and kept saying it's your fault. They did knock two days charges off but we were still charged a lot. However, my main gripe was their attitude, especially the manager as he did not explain it properly. We never found the help desk to be very helpful, unless you wanted to buy anything. We also had a problem with the heating in the cabin. It was so hot. It took few days for someone to come. When he did he did something in the ceiling with tape and said he'd be back in a couple of days. Never saw him again. The vegetarian food was quite poor. We have sailed on Ambition twice and the food was good, so this was very disappointing. One evening my husband didn't like the one vegetarian option and asked if there was an alternative and was told no. We splashed out and went to the Saffron for a Chinese night. The restaurant was cold and we were told that someone was coming to sort it out. They never did. The main vegetarian meal was chow main, which was also the side dish that everyone got. It was a rip off.

We were on the Jane Macdonald Cruise, it was announced it would be repeated in 2026, it was so good we couldn't resist another cruise with Ambassador, while onboard. We love Ambition & Ambience, we are looking forward to joining both again in September and October 2026 Jane's Team were amazing and so are Ambassadors entertainment teams, 1st class shows . “Everything about the cruise was amazing.”

The service was excellent from all the ships crew. The balcony cabin was lovely, nice and clean and spacious. Food was delicious and plenty to choose from the menu and the borough market restaurant. Entertainment was good, plenty to choose from. Have booked another cruise for April on the Ambience, hoping it will be just as good as the Ambition.
