As it was a budget cruise compared to our previous cruises with Fred Olson we didn't have high hopes of what it was going to be like but at least we thought we are getting away. How wrong we were, it was fantastic on every level from the cleanliness of the ship, the wonderful food options, entertainment like l would compare to a West End show and the friendly courteous crew members. There was nothing that we didn't like, so much so that we booked another cruise before we left the ship and looking forward to sailing away in just over two weeks time.😀

I booked this cruise at 14:00 on the 14/08/2026 directly with Ambassador. Despite feeling to operator was a bit distant, I booked a premium suite saying the usual requests i.e. Twin room, shower and frig, all the normal details when booking. This appeared to go through Ok. On receiving my booking number I went on line with My Ambassador to check for any other details ! I was shocked to find that my suite only had a fixed double bed! On the 15/08/2026 (Saturday) I phoned Ambassador guest services and explained my problem, I received a warm welcome and was informed that All the premium suites had fixed beds. After some discussion My cabin was moved to a junior! suite containing all my requests, resulting in a drop in costs of £2k, while this was handy it did not remove the sour taste in my mouth or the stress of boarding and finding I had to sleep on a settee or put-you-up bed (again see previous cruise)

Excellent as usual.......this is the 7th cruise with Ambassador we have booked. The 1st was booked through Igloo,the 2nd on board, 3rd through Hays,4th on board,5th through Rol,6th & 7th 'on line' with Ambassador. Disadvantage with agent is having to pay earlier & that you can't speak to Ambassador themselves about anything . Advantage is having tickets/lables printed off. Whenever we have rang Ambassador their telephone service has been excellent .

the cruise experience and voyage is great and reason I rebooked. However, whenever I call the reservation customer service they don't seem to be able to answer basic questions. the agent booking the cruise was efficient, but nothing additional
