The operator we spoke to was friendly and answered all our questions and helped us through the booking process. She pointed out potential issues with the suite we had in mind, a bath with shower over, which was not suitable due to mobility issues. Instead we chose a suite which she recommended with a walk in shower so much better for us thanks to her. If we had booked online we would not have known. Overall she made the booking process a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Booking with Ambassador is very straightforward, particularly if you book a future cruise (or 3) while onboard. Personally, I find the website easy to navigate to check availability and pricing, but as I cruise with them frequently, I am very familiar with their ships and know exactly which cabins I prefer to book.

Call was answered quickly. I was enquiring about a specific cruise for a solo traveller. A quote was forthcoming and I was asked if I wanted to book straight away. I requested a callback to consider the offer and the staff member rang back at the requested time. I then booked it over the phone. The staff member was polite, informative and told me at the end of the call it was only his first week in the role. Well done George!

The person I spoke to was ok but I felt lacking in ' enthusiasm ' when I was trying to book. I was suggesting solutions rather than him. Not a big issue but slightly frustrating. Also booking confirmation not received as promised. Contacted customer service and was told they have some issues with Hotmail addresses. This is a popular one so seems strange. I don't have confirmation of all booking details yet. Not even sure they will be contacting me if Hotmail addresses an issue.
