Excellent and especially in the cabin and the dining room

I had trouble booking my credit card . On the last trip it took some time to reverse the provisional card charges which affected my credit limit.

You feel welcomed from the minute you step on board, cabins are ideal, food & drink plentiful. Entertainment to try and suit every need. Local embarkation an absolute plus too.

From embarkation to disembarkation the trip was completely wonderful. Food was excellent, cleanliness way above average, staff absolutely delightful. Sorry, no complaints whatsoever.

Used the app to search cruises which is clear and easy to use. Once we had decided which cruise to book we followed the instructions and made our choice’s. Good clear direction and opportunity to review our choices before making our commitment.

I asked for a call-back as I wanted to discuss the cabin selection but none was forthcoming. I am a solo traveller, new to cruising and have no idea if I've booked a suitable cabin or not. It seems Ambassador is solely an online cruise company? Perhaps I'll get a phone call now I've highlighted the issue...?

I had an issue with the air conditioning- it was so noisy on the first night that I was unable to sleep at all. I spoke to the cabin steward, he reported it and stayed to see the maintenance person- this was early that morning. I reported it twice later in the day and eventually, at around 8pm, someone came and fixed it. I was very pleased that it was fixed, but unhappy that it took 12 hours and me reporting it lots of times to get it sorted. The maintenance man was very friendly and helpful. All the rest of the service was excellent.

Service was good especially the medical team I had an infection and the service was excellent. I do not however agree with the gratuity system this is an outdated American system that has been dropped by most English and European cruise lines, even if it means paying more for the cruise it is better to know the total outgoings firsthand than to be hit with additional costs during the cruise.

Clear factual info given in website. Helpful and comprehensive answers to FAQs. Booking and confirmation was quick and easy to follow.
