I expected heavy demand but not the inefficiency of one of the agents. Website crashed just as I was about to enter payment details for single ocean view for £1899. Phone lines overwhelmed. When website reopened later, single cabins were sold out. The next morning, phone call to ask what twin cabins were available and if they could be later converted to twin, (the answer was no) I was informed that there were in fact 2 singles still available at £2399 and £2499. I was put on wait list whilst I considered those. That afternoon, phoned again only to be cut off just as agent was telling me about new single releases at £1899. Another long wait to get through on the Rock Choir dedicated line, by which time those cabins were now sold out. I decided to book the ocean view for £2399 plus Ambassador package for £199 and paid the deposit. When checking the confirmation invoice, I noticed I had been booked on a cruise starting 7/6/27, not the Rock Choir one starting 30/5/27. Another 30 minute wait for customer relations, put on hold for a length of time while it was investigated. Another long wait for “manager” to call me back to sort out the error. Customer relations phoned back offering guaranteed ocean view plus drinks etc package foe £2398 a saving/recompense of £300, which I accepted. Within minutes I received an amended confirmation……except the invoice attached was still the same! At this point, I gave up on the phone calls and vented my frustration and anger by email and concentrated on what was left of the afternoon of my short holiday in London. When I arrived home that night, finally the correct booking confirmation and invoice had arrived.

Very helpful lady who assisted with our booking and we were able to book the same cabins as previously. What made it so good was we had travelled with them before and they had retained the information from our previous booking, so they transposed the information after verifying all details. Could not recommend Ambassador enough as I had never travelled on a friendlier ship than Ambience.

Very professional - starting with very little waiting time for phone to be answered, no bland monotone robot and no Long list options to choose from …… it makes a change to speak to a human being so quickly ….

As this was a short cruise, the booking was done online and it was extremely straightforward. Everything you needed to know about cabins, their location and price was easily accessible. Probably the quickest I have ever looked at and booked a cruise

Easy to book but my only issue was lack of information on coaches from areas to Tilbury cruises terminal. Be good to know these in advance to booking. Ive now got to make arrangements to travel to coach pickup.

All quite straightforward but had a problem validating my card so called back and was helped by voice validation which, was very good.

Firstly, as this was a huge group booking where many members were all trying to book at the same time, it meant the website crashed and the phone lines suffered similarly. After 40 mins or so the situation was rectified. The booking therefore was quite stressful which I wouldn’t think would happen normally. Having made a couple of errors when booking online I phoned the team next day. The lady I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding and was able to sort my mistakes for me. She totally restored my confidence in booking my very first cruise and I am now looking forward to a wonderful time on board with friendly staff and of course passengers. Thank you.

phone line kept dropping out took one and a half hours to get something booked which was not first choice was looking to book midship balcony cabin

Very efficient and precise instructions how to make a group booking. I was totally ignorant as to the process of booking for multiple people, with varying selections of cabins and price brackets. Alan was very helpful and guided me through it. Always available and willing to please. I’m now confident I can answer any enquiries from my Group members regarding their cruise booking.
