What’s the difference between Saver Fare and Ambassador Fare?
Saver Fare offers a lower upfront price, while Ambassador Fare includes the top drinks package with a 15% saving, all gratuities and additional onboard comforts. Both fares allow you to choose your cabin at the time of booking.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities and service charges are included when you book the Ambassador Fare. They are not included with Saver Fare.
Can I add a drinks package at time of booking?
Yes. When you book Ambassador Fare, the top drinks package is included with a 15% saving. This saving is only available at the time of booking - adding a drinks package later costs 15% more.
Are these sailings adult-only?
Yes. All Ambassador cruises are adult-only, creating a relaxed and comfortable onboard atmosphere.
When should I book for the best choice of cabins?
Booking early generally offers the widest choice of cabins, particularly for popular itineraries and cabin grades.
Is there a deposit option?
Yes. For cruise-only holidays, a deposit of 15% or £200 per person (whichever is greater) is required at the time of booking.
- Where £200 is greater than 15%, it applies to the first and second guest
- Third and fourth guests are charged £50 per person
- For cruises including charter flights, a 20% deposit per person applies
The final balance is payable 90 days before departure.
Terms and Conditions
2028/2029 Season Buy One Get One Half Price offer is available on all new bookings made from 09:00 12 March 2026 until 23:59, 30 June 2026, inclusive. All offers are capacity controlled and subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice at any time. Buy One Get One Half Price offer applies to the cruise fare only on any Ambience sailing departing between 18/04/2028 – 30/03/2029, or any Ambition sailing departing between 23/04/2028 – 29/03/2029, applicable on all twin grades structured as the first guest paying full fare and second guest paying half the fare, solo travelers will get 25% off the applicable full single fare over the same period. Please note, this promotion is not applicable to any festive/in port events or any booking made outside of the above sailing dates. It is only applicable to the lead booked guest and secondary guest in each twin grade cabin and is not applicable to any 3rd/4th berth guest. The Ambassador Guarantee is available to guests that have not previously cruised with Ambassador Cruise Line, and are booking their first cruise aboard Ambience or Ambition. It is valid for new bookings only, made after 19th Jan 2024 for a duration of 4 nights or more. To take advantage of the Guarantee you must state your intention to leave the cruise, and the reason why, to the Hotel Director within 24 hours of your embarkation. Our onboard team will endeavour to resolve any issues within 24 hours from the time you notify them. If a solution cannot be agreed, Ambassador will cover the cost of transport to your point of embarkation at the next available port. The mode of repatriation will be at Ambassador’s discretion e.g. flights, rail, taxi plus one hotel night if needed. Ambassador is only responsible for the travel / hotel cost and nothing else, all other costs must be covered by you. Ambassador will refund the fare that you have paid for your cruise and pro-rated drinks package costs only. We will not refund any extra costs you have incurred on board of a personal nature i.e. drinks, gifts, shopping, laundry, spa, communications etc. We will not reimburse port parking or travel costs to the terminal or for items not purchased directly through Ambassador, such as overnight accommodation, travel insurance, visa’s or health certificates. Refunds will be made via the same channel that you used to book your cruise e.g. directly with Ambassador or via a travel agent. Refunds may take up to 14 working days to process. The Guarantee does not affect Ambassador’s standard booking conditions or pre-departure cancellation policy. Guarantee not available on Festive events, cruises under 4 nights or any cruise within our Caribbean Fly-Cruise Programme. Not applicable to employees of Ambassador and their friends and family, suppliers, journalists, or any prize winners or concession booking.
Price Promise applies on all fare types on holidays booked with Ambassador Cruise Line either directly or through a travel agent. You must provide evidence from a bona fide UK travel agent of a cheaper price on the day of booking with us. You must be able to show that the fare quoted matches to the cruise you have booked with us and that the price has been quoted on the same day of that booking being made. The screenshot or quote from the travel agent must include: 1. Same Ship & Sailing date/Cruise Code; 2. Same Cabin Type & Cabin Grade; 3. Same Fare Type; and 4. Time & Date 5. Any value-added benefits (onboard credit, parking, Wi-Fi or any other ancillary offered), and must be offered on the same terms and conditions. The Price Promise does not apply to bookings made where Ambassador is not the operator selling the holiday or to holidays where an additional element, such as a land tour, hotel stay, or flights have been added or packaged into the price. The evidence described above must be printed (not handwritten) and provided to email address sales@ambassadorcruiseline.com on same day of booking. Quotes submitted by post will not be accepted. If the evidence submitted is accepted and approved for Price Promise, the difference will be used to reduce the balance payable for your holiday and will not affect the deposit that has been paid. If you’ve already paid the balance of your holiday, the difference will, at your option, either be refunded to your payment card or allocated as a credit to your onboard account. If you opt for a refund of the price difference to your card, please note this can take up to 14 working days. All other terms and conditions in relation to your booking are unaffected and in particular, but without limitation, if you subsequently decide to cancel your cruise normal cancellation charges will apply. Price promise cannot be applied to bookings made through the following channels; Gift vouchers, voucher codes, cash back; “affiliate” discounts (e.g. NHS, Blue Light); membership club discounts (e.g. CSSC, Restless), partner discount (e.g. Essex Cricket Club, Orca), auction sites, consumer events, private sales, bookings made on board which attract “future cruise booking benefits” (including, but not limited to low deposit and / or additional on board credit or cabin upgrades); bookings made using a discount provided as part of any “Thank you for sailing” promotion. Any other travel agency price match promotion which offers an additional rebate or other benefit for any price matched product is also excluded (such as booking incentive gifts, loyalty points). The price provided must be in GBP (£'s). We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. All Price Promise transactions are carried out at our discretion. Once a Price Promise has been accepted, you cannot apply for a further reduction. The price being matched must include all taxes (including VAT), and any postage and packing charges as applicable.
Extras not included: Travel insurance, travel costs to/from the port of embarkation, port parking, onboard gratuities and service charges where a package has not been purchased (automatically billed to the onboard account), optional shore excursions, discretionary expenditure of a personal nature including hot and cold alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, gifts, shopping, laundry, WIFI & communication, and any visa & health certificate charges that may apply. Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right to cancel, change or amend any theme cruise activities/speakers/acts at short notice. In the event of your cruise being cancelled, you will be guaranteed a full refund.
