Which Month Has Your Name on It?
- January: the fresh start. Kick the new year off right by flying out to Barbados to embark on a Caribbean cruise. These itineraries are packed with beautiful islands for a holiday you’ll be raving about for the rest of 2029 and beyond.
- February: the romantic one. Our first February sailing gets you to sun and sand right in time for Valentine’s Day, but our late February sailing features a French finish, with Guadeloupe and Martinique carrying the romantic feeling forward.
- March: the long way home. Our March 2029 voyage sails from Barbados all the way back to London, with the Azores and Porto as a bonus as Renaissance makes her way back across the Atlantic.

Life On Board Renaissance
Think of Renaissance as the hotel that moves while you sleep. With around 1,100 guests, it’s easy to find your favourite spot, easy to get to know the crew and easy to fall into conversation with fellow guests, solo travellers included.
By day, there’s the Lido pool on Deck 11 with its retractable roof and two whirlpools, more than 50 treatments in the Green Sea Spa, the Explorers café-library for a relaxing drink and a gym for anyone keeping those resolutions going.
Dinner in the Grand Restaurant Vatel, set across two decks under a ceiling of a thousand lights, is included. So are the buffet by the pool and the grill on deck. For nights that call for something different, book Kreole by Mondi for Caribbean flavours, Terre & Mer for French-inspired fine dining, Lotus for Pan-Asian or the Chef’s Table, a multi-course evening with the Executive Chef that starts behind the scenes in the galley. Speciality restaurants carry a supplement.
After dark, the theatre company performs twice nightly with a different production every evening. Then it’s over to the bars and lounges for live music, quizzes and game shows that regularly have the whole room in stitches. Le Panoramique, right at the top of the ship, turns from a sea-view lounge by day into a dance floor with a live band and DJ by night.

When do 2029 Caribbean fly cruises depart?
Our 2029 fly cruises depart from Barbados on 14 and 28 January and 11 and 25 February, each for 14 nights. There’s also a 17-night voyage from Barbados to London Tilbury on 11 March. Flights leave from London Heathrow and Manchester Airport.
Is January to March a good time to visit the Caribbean?
It’s one of the best. These months sit in the drier part of the year, with warm temperatures, lots of sunshine and calm seas. It also happens to be when the UK is at its least inviting, which helps.
Which islands can I visit on a 2029 fly cruise?
Our 2029 sailings call at Antigua, Barbados, Bonaire, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten and Tortola. Ports vary by sailing, so check the itinerary of your chosen cruise.
Can I sail home instead of flying?

What’s included in a 2029 fly cruise?
Return flights with Virgin Atlantic, transfers between the airport and the ship in Barbados, luggage delivered to your cabin, full board dining, entertainment and use of the onboard facilities. Drinks, speciality dining, spa treatments, Wi-Fi and Destination Experiences are extra, or choose the Ambassador Fare to include the Premium Drinks Package from day one.
What is twilight check-in?
It lets you check in at Heathrow or Manchester the evening before your flight, drop your bags and collect your boarding pass. The next morning you head straight to departures. Just remember to print and attach your cruise luggage labels before you arrive, as bags without them can’t be accepted.

Is a 2029 fly cruise suitable for solo travellers?
