Scenic Cornish Drive & Cream Tea

This experience introduces you to some of Cornwall’s beautiful countryside combined with a traditional cream tea.

Having made your way ashore using the ship’s tenders, a short walk including some steps will bring you to the coach parking area. Having embarked your coach, relax and enjoy the passing scenery as your journey takes you through picturesque countryside to Charlestown.

Charlestown is a historic maritime village with a Grade II listed harbour. Beautifully preserved, the pretty pastel fishermen cottages line the harbour. Here you will enjoy some free time to explore independently.

You will continue through Bodmin, one of Cornwall’s oldest towns. Despite being the place where the Cornish rebellion originated centuries ago, today you will find it a place of tranquillity with imposing granite buildings which are the surviving link to its roots as a mining town. From here, you’ll make your way to a local establishment for a traditional cream tea, before re-boarding your coach for the return drive to the pier via Lostwithiel, a beautiful, wooded valley whose name comes from two Cornish words meaning ‘the place at the end of the woodland’ before returning to Fowey.
