This experience is ideally suited to those wishing to see some of the highlights of the northern part of the Faroes from the comfort of a coach.

Your journey will take you to three different islands: Vidoy, Bordoy and Kunoy, taking a short photo stop on each, admiring the fantastic views throughout.

Departing from Klaksvik on the island of Bordoy, you will travel across a causeway to the island of Kunoy. Of the ten mountains on the Faroes that exceed 800m (2624ft), seven of them are located on Kunoy. The use of a narrow tunnel is necessary to reach the island’s west coast where a photo stop will be made at a small settlement.

Returning via the same tunnel and causeway to Bordoy, you will travel northwards through new tunnels built to improve links between communities, before crossing the causeway that links Bordoy to the island of Vidoy. Here, a stop will be made for photos at a viewpoint looking over to the village of Vidareidi, nestled between mountains.

During the return journey, you will make short stops in the small coastal settlement of Hvannasund, and in Klaksvik, also known as the fishing capital of the Faroe Islands, before returning to the pier.
