Stretch your legs on a guided walk along the shore, and experience the Norwegian tradition of Friluftsliv!

Friluftsliv is the act of enjoying the great outdoors. Start your experience with an approximate 30-minute drive to the start point along the coast just outside Bodø, where there are sandy beaches with amazing views. As you walk along the coast, listen to the soothing sound of the ocean, admire the scenery and breath in the fresh Arctic air as you learn about the local lifestyle and history of the region.

Your local guide will point out one of the many Viking graves found in the area, and if you are lucky, you may even spot the largest bird of prey in Europe – the white tailed sea eagle!

At the end of your walk, transfer by bus back to Bodø and your awaiting ship.
