This experience provides you with an opportunity to hike in the mountains - a popular Norwegian pastime.

Departing from the pier, your coach will start to climb the slopes on which the village of Geiranger is situated, passing the white, octagonal wooden church, built in 1842, and the Hotel Union offering beautiful views down the Geirangerfjord to those who choose to stay here. Your driver will then carefully navigate a series of hairpin bends to bring you to Hole, the starting point of your hike.

Continuing on foot, join your guide on an approximately one-hour uphill hike along country roads and footpaths to reach the Storseterfossen Waterfall. Beautifully hidden in the mountains, this 30m (98ft) waterfall has a rugged pathway allowing you to walk behind it.

After a pause for photos, you will begin your descent to Westerås. This complex of old farm buildings now comprises accommodation and a restaurant overlooking Geiranger and the fjord. Here you can relax and admire the views whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, accompanied by a Norwegian waffle with jam.

Fully refreshed, continue your hike back down to Hole where you will re-join your coach for the return drive to the pier.
