This experience takes you to one of the most visited glaciers in Norway. Located in the Jostedalsbreen National Park, Briksdal is an arm of the Jostedal Glacier creeping into the beautiful Briksdalen Valley.

From Olden, you will travel by coach through tunnels and beautiful countryside surrounded by mountains and waterfalls, to the Briksdal Mountain Lodge at Fjellstove. From here, you will join a hiking trail surrounded by waterfalls, rivers and stunning scenery for a walk to reach the glacier viewing area. Although the glacier has retreated, viewing the glacier tongue stretching down into the valley is a truly memorable experience.

After appreciating the views, walk back along the same route to the Mountain Lodge for refreshments, including coffee or tea and cake. You may also wish to browse the gift shop to purchase a souvenir of your experience. Finally, re-join your coach for the return journey to the picturesque village of Olden.
