This experience is ideally suited to those wishing to see some of the highlights of Aarhus, predominantly from the comfort of a coach.

Departing from the port, your experience will introduce you to Aarhus, a city brimming with history, culture, and stunning architecture. You will begin with the beautiful Mindeparken and the royal summer residence of Marselisborg Palace. Here you will make a photo stop to stretch your legs, take in the lush park, and catch a glimpse of the palace.

Following this, your journey continues towards the city centre where you will pass the City Hall, an architectural masterpiece built by the world-famous architect Arne Jacobsen. Continue to the modern Concert Hall and the famous ARoS Museum of Modern Art. Situated on top of the ARoS Museum you will see the ‘Your Rainbow Panorama’ - a circle-shaped rainbow coloured glass structure created by the Icelandic architect Olafur Eliasson.

You will continue past ‘Den Gamle By’, an open-air museum showing historical townhouses from all over Denmark, and pass by the University before stopping in the heart of Aarhus in front of the Cathedral, a beautifully iconic building that dates back more than 800 years. Your guide will explain the history before allowing you some time to visit the cathedral on your own.

Finally, you will take a short panoramic drive back to the pier passing the historical Customs House and one of the newly developed areas of Aarhus, the ‘Aarhus Ø’, built on an artificial island, right in the city’s harbour.
