This experience is ideally suited to those wishing to see some of the highlights of Fredericia and its surroundings predominantly from the comfort of a coach. Marvel at a host of famous sights on this relaxing panoramic drive around Fredericia and the region’s picturesque countryside.

Your local guide will share their knowledge of the area as you traverse idyllic islands and journey through quaint villages. Pause at pretty Strib Lighthouse to photograph your ship in the harbour and catch a glimpse of Hindsgavl Castle in Middelfart.

Next, make a visit to the unique, Danish medieval Taulov Church. Expanded over the years, the oldest part of the church dates from 1170, its one of a kind in Scandinavia. Inside, you can admire the bright white, airy interior with its colourful art collection. From here, you can also take in a fantastic view across the Koldingfjord to the emerald Skamlingsbanken Hill.

From here, your journey continues past the vast Carlsberg Brewery, the world’s fourth largest brewery. You will then behold the defensive city ramparts of Fredericia. Back in the city walk with your guide and get a close look at the oldest, inner part of town and the 1858 statue of the Brave Soldier.

During this experience, you will also stop for a refreshment break to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and of course - a Danish pastry.
