As one of Europe’s largest ports and Germany’s second largest city, the Hanseatic city of Hamburg offers plenty for you to see from the comfort of your coach.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the views as you drive along the famous Reeperbahn and pass notable buildings such as the City Hall. The Alster Lakes and the Speicherstadt, an area believed to be the world’s largest complex of warehouses. Watch the festive spirit come alive in this Christmas-loving city, always marvellously decorated with lights and decorations at this time of year.

During the experience, a stop will be made for a short, guided visit to St. Michael’s Church, the largest baroque church in northern Germany. St. Michael’s is home to five organs with a total of 11,000 pipes – a truly magnificent sight to behold. Your guide will also lead you on a short leisurely stroll through the Krameramtsstuben – which are historic buildings originally built as residences for grocers’ widows.

Before your return to the port, enjoy some free time to explore the stunning Roncalli Christmas Market, located in front of Hamburg’s City Hall, the city’s largest urban square. Browse the stalls and perhaps pick up some Christmas presents, indulge in a nice glass of Glühwein or savour the taste of a traditional bratwurst – the choice is yours.
