Kiel Old Town Walk & Brewery
Kiel
on foot
Discover the highlights of this charming maritime city as you explore its streets on foot and finish your experience with a taste of authentic local beer.
Your experience will begin as your guide meets you at the pier and leads you through Kiel’s historic centre, sharing engaging anecdotes and insights along the way. You will stroll past the impressive City Hall and step inside the elegant St. Nicholas Church, known for its remarkable artwork and the tranquil atmosphere.
After taking in the city’s cultural landmarks your walk will continue as you head to the Kieler Brewery – a classic German Brauhaus. Here you will gain a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process, view the impressive copper kettles and discover the techniques used to create their signature beers.
No visit would be complete without sampling the finished product. Enjoy a freshly drafted beer alongside a hearty traditional German snack before returning to your ship.
