Scenic Schwerin & Castle
Wismar
by coach & on foot
Your experience begins as you board your coach for an approximately 45-minute journey to ‘fairy-tale’ Schwerin.
Upon arrival, follow your guide on a walk through the Old Town where you will see the main highlights such as the Mecklenburg State Theatre (widely regarded as one of the finest in Germany); the Medieval Schwerin Cathedral, an imposing Romanesque-Gothic red-brick building; and the magnificent Schloss Schwerin, which is a picturesque palace located on an island and the city’s most famous building. You will be provided some free time to explore at leisure where you’ll have time to enjoy the fairytale atmosphere, you may do some shopping or purchase some refreshments.
The highlight of your experience will be an inside visit to Schloss Schwerin to admire the beautiful interior. Outside, the gardens with their majestic beauty, will offer a stunning view of the castle .
You will then rejoin your coach for the return journey back to Wismar.
