Departing from IJmuiden, an approximately one-hour drive will bring you to the city centre of Amsterdam.

Upon arrival, your exploration of Amsterdam will begin with an approximately 1h30min guided walk, passing through Amsterdam’s oldest district as your guide offers insights into the city’s long history.

Following this, there may be a little free time to explore before you board a glass-topped canal boat for an approximately one-hour cruise along Amsterdam’s canals. On the boat, you will pass major monuments such as the Maritime Museum, the Town Hall and Anne Frank’s House. You will see the beautiful city centre from a unique perspective as you glide past areas where regular transport are not able to access.

Lined with trees and monumental buildings, the famous crescent-shaped Herengracht, Keizergracht and Prinsengracht canals provide the setting for your leisurely cruise. Although many canal-fronting houses have been converted into offices, shops and restaurants, there are still many functioning as private residences.

At the end of your canal cruise, your coach awaits to transfer you back to IJmuiden.
