Your experience begins as you board your coach for a short journey to Delft. En route, you'll pass lowland countryside dotted with farms, canals, flower fields and windmills, the perfect traditional symbol of Holland's past.

In Delft, you'll join your guide for a short walk through the narrow streets of this charming 17th-century city. Although most famous for its porcelain, Delft is also the birthplace of painter Vermeer, and the site of the assassination of William of Orange, whose body is buried in the New Church in the city.

Following your walk, you make a visit to De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft Factory), the Netherlands’ most famous Delft factory. While others may turn to mass production, the Delft Factory still painstakingly creates its famed earthenware using the same methods employed since it’s founding in 1653. You'll have a guided tour of the factory and watch artists demonstrate the hand painting that makes each piece of blue and white Delft a work of art.

Before you journey back to the pier, you'll have free time to shop in the Delft store.
