Your experience begins with a scenic drive along the Ostas Street promenade, the charming Valdemāra Street, the Buoys and Piles area which offer picturesque views of the harbour. Continue through Ventspils’ residential area and arrive at the peaceful Jūrmala Park, a green oasis in the heart of the city.

Next, enjoy a relaxing walk along the Anchor Trail in Jūrmala Park that leads you to the Seaside Open-Air Museum. This informative museum is the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the region’s cultural heritage and during the Craft Days on the City’s festival celebrations and you’ll have the chance to witness the region’s best artisans showcasing their crafts. The museum’s permanent exhibitions will give you insight into local traditions and craftsmanship.

After exploring the museum, it’s time to travel back in time with a visit to Mazirbe Station, where you’ll board the charming Mazbānītis, a narrow-gauge train that takes you through the seaside dunes, the park, and pine tree forest. The journey will take you to the ‘Kalns’ station, with a photo stop by the whimsical ‘Rabbit Family’ flower sculpture, a local favourite and perfect for photos.

Next, you’ll rejoin your bus and return to the city centre. Here, you will take a walk with your guide to admire the beautiful fountain ‘Frigate Valzivs’ (The Whale), enjoy the atmosphere by the concert hall, and marvel at the seasonal flower carpets or flower clock, both vibrant displays that celebrate the city’s love for nature and art.

Rejoining your bus, your return drive to the port will take you along Central Kuldīga Street, passing by the historic Town Hall Square and the Market Square.
