Meeting your guide at the port, your experience begins as they lead you on a walk towards Market Square. Along the way, you’ll see landmarks such as the Sea Stone and Spades Monument. In Market Square, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Old Town and its historic buildings.
You will then make a stop at the Craft House, where you will meet local artisans, explore handmade souvenirs, and enjoy a tasting of Ventspils specialties, such as Windau wine, local beer, and local snacks like speck patty and sklandrausi- a traditional Latvian rye pastry.
Next, you’ll visit Town Hall Square, an important historical centre of the city. Here, you can admire the Town Hall and the beautiful surrounding architecture.
You will then continue to the Ostas Street Promenade, where you can enjoy local art, including Cowparade sculptures and the Shipwatcher fountain, while taking in the atmosphere of the harbour before your experience comes to an end back at the port.
