Accessible Havana by Tram
  • Sustainable Experience

by electric tram & on foot

This experience is ideal for those guests who would like an introduction to the vibrant city of Havana, with minimal walking.

Step aboard an open-sided tram and let the city unfold before you as the warm Caribbean breeze and iconic, rhythmic energy of Havana set the scene. Glide along the colourful Malecón Avenue, where sweeping ocean views meet historic cityscapes, and catch sight of El Morro and San Salvador de la Punta — the centuries-old fortresses guarding the entrance to Havana Bay. As you wind through the cobbled streets and grand boulevards, your English-speaking guide will bring Havana’s past and present to life with captivating stories of colonial splendour, revolutionary change, and everyday Cuban culture.
The journey continues with panoramic views of the city’s most celebrated landmarks, including the majestic Capitol Building, the elegant Alicia Alonso Grand Theater, and the Museum of the Revolution. Along the route, you’ll also pass cultural icons such as Floridita Bar — Hemingway’s favourite haunt Havana University, and the Museum of Fine Arts, all while soaking in the vibrant spirit that defines this remarkable city.
To make the experience even more memorable, the tour includes three short stops for photos and exploration. Pause at Central Park for approximately 15 minutes, where you’ll have time to capture beautiful images surrounded by neoclassical architecture and enjoy a brief restroom break. At the legendary National Hotel of Cuba, another 15-minute stop allows you to step into a landmark rich in history and grandeur. Finally, a 15-minute stop at Revolution Square gives you the chance to admire the towering José Martí Memorial and the iconic monuments that symbolise Cuba’s revolutionary heritage.

Throughout the tour, you will also pass by many of Havana’s most picturesque and historic sites, including San Francisco de Asís Square, Castillo de la Real Fuerza, the Malecón Seawall, San Salvador de la Punta Fortress, the National Hotel of Cuba, Revolution Square, Central Park, the Alicia Alonso Grand Theater, the Revolution Museum, and more.
