Departing from the port, you will follow your guide on a walk to Parque Cespedes, the main square of the city. Here you will have some free time to admire the historical buildings that surround the plaza, including the cathedral.
Your walk will then continue to La Bodeguita del Medio, where you will enjoy some music performed by a traditional Cuban group whilst sipping a mojito.
The final stop on your guided walk will be at Balcon de Velazquez, a ceramic-tiled terrace which is all that remains of an old Spanish fort once used by authorities to monitor boat traffic in the bay. Here you will enjoy views over the terracotta-tiled roofs of the Tivoli neighbourhood towards the harbour.
Following this, your guide will lead you back to the port, although you may prefer to remain in town to explore independently.
