Now for something completely different as you experience the wonderful world of Mexican Lucha Libre, where colourful masks and high-flying acrobatics combine in a spectacle like no other.

Departing from the port, a short unguided transfer by minibus will bring you to Barriecito for a display of Lucha Libre, a style of Mexican wrestling. Lucha Libre began in the early 1900s and has fast become one of the most popular sports in Mexico, just after football.

Arriving at the venue, you will have an opportunity to take some photos before taking your seat in the wrestling venue. Time to pick a side, which ‘luchador’ (Lucha Libre wrestler) will you route for? As the bout commences, cheer on your luchador as they wrestle each other into submission.

Following this, enjoy a taste of some traditional tacos (chicken, pork & beef), washed down with a margarita. You may wish to visit the gift shop and purchase a souvenir of your visit, such as a Mexican wrestling mask!

Rejoining your minibus, you will be transferred back to the port.
