During your journey to Bordeaux, you will drive along the famous ‘Route des Chateaux’, the Medoc wine road.

This will include a visit to the cellars of a traditional wine estate where you will learn all about the techniques of winemaking before sampling two recent vintages for yourself.

Upon arrival in Bordeaux, you will enjoy a short panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. The panoramic drive concludes on the Allees de Tourny, which will be the drop-off and re-boarding point for the coaches.

You’ll then have some free time to shop, enjoy lunch on your own, discover more about the history of the city, visit the museums, or just stroll around and take in the atmosphere.

The tour will conclude with a drive back to your ship in Le Verdon.
