Soulac-sur-Mer is one of the most attractive seaside resorts of the region. This is the place where you will find beaches as far as the eye can see, perfect spot for swimming and nature lovers. The Town of Soulac was born at the end of the 19th century with the vogue for sea bathing, encouraged by the construction of the railway line linking Bordeaux to the Verdon.

After an approximately 20-minute shuttle bus transfer from the port of Le Verdon to Soulac, you’ll meet your local guide at the shuttle bus stop. Here you will start your one-hour guided walk by discovering the basilica of Soulac-sur-Mer ‘Notre-Dame-de-la-fin-des-Terres’ listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site which is full of stories and anecdotes. Continue your visit strolling through the streets of the town and admire the traditional and typical houses of this charming village. Soulac is known as the village of the 500 villas.

Your visit will end at the seafront. Here you will have the option to stay longer in town and visit the many shops, bars and restaurants and return on own to your awaiting ship via shuttle bus.
