Leave the pier and start your coach tour driving towards Monte Pellegrino, the mountain that dominates Palermo and from where you will see the beautiful panorama of the town itself.

Your journey continues towards Mondello, a former fishing village that is now an elegant summer resort and home to one of Sicily’s most beautiful beaches.

You then head into the centre of Palermo and begin a city tour by coach; highlights include the Norman Palace, which began life in the Saracen period, and then altered by the Norman kings; the notable landmarks of the Politeama square, Massimo Theatre, Felice Gate and the Water front Marina with the Botanical Garden.

Your final stop will be by the Massimo Theatre where you will have the option to stop for photos before you re-board the coach to drive back to the ship.
