After leaving the port you will enjoy a short panoramic coach tour of Palermo centre before heading out to the highway and along the beautiful coastline to reach the charming town of Cefalu.

This ancient fishing village is a popular seaside resort. Sandy beaches, a picturesque historic town on a rocky headland, a fine Norman Cathedral and typical Sicilian charm make this a favourite destination for many.

Your guide will take you on an approximate one-hour walking tour of the town including a visit to the splendid Norman-Arab Cathedral, famous for its paintings and gold Byzantine mosaics, including a superb image of Christ Pantocrator. You will also see the medieval wash-house and the Osterio Magno residence of King Ruggero II.

Before returning to Palermo there will be some free time for independent exploration of Cefalu.
