This experience gives you the opportunity to explore Selinunte, one of the largest and most imposing archaeological parks in Europe.
Departing from the port, an approximately 1h15min journey will take you through Trapani and onwards to the ancient Greek archaeological site of Selinunte.
Upon arrival, your guide will lead you on a walk to explore the ‘Eastern Hill’ where there are the ruins of three impressive temples. Temple ‘E’ dedicated to Hera is the most intact, dating from the 6th century BCE and partially rebuilt in 1958.
You will also have the opportunity to visit the small museum inside the Baglio Florio. Following this, there may be some free time to purchase a souvenir before rejoining your coach for the return drive to the port.
