Trapani & Surroundings @ Ease
Trapani, Sicily
by coach & on foot
This experience is ideally suited to those wishing to see some of the highlights of Trapani and its surroundings, predominantly from the comfort of a coach.
Departing from the pier, relax and enjoy the views from the coach as your journey takes you through Trapani and north along the coastline past Pizzolungo and Bonagia. Your route then takes you up the slopes towards the hilltop town of Erice, located at 700m (2,460ft) above sea level, to enjoy magnificent views over the mountains and coastline. A short comfort stop will be made close to the town.
Your journey then returns to Trapani, travelling along the ‘Salt Road’, passing windmills and salt pans that have existed here since the 12th century. Following another short comfort stop, your sightseeing drive will return to the port.
