Agadir, located on Morocco's southern Atlantic coast at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, a promenade lined with cafes, bars and restaurants, and its golf course. An earthquake destroyed most of the city in the 1960s, but Agadir was rebuilt and is now a popular seaside resort.

Leaving the port of Agadir, you head towards Agadir Oufella Kasbah, one of the best viewpoints of the city, where you will enjoy a short photo stop to admire the spectacular views. Your journey continues back to the city, passing along the bustling main avenues of Agadir to one of the city's most beautiful mosques, Talborjt Mosque, where a photo stop will be made.

One of the must-see highlights in Agadir is The Medina of Polizzi. The Medina was built in 1992 with the best Moroccan stone from Agadir, Marrakech and Rabat to reflect the beauty of Berber Architecture where buildings have a medieval look. Enjoy a visit with a chance to sample local mint tea and a Moroccan pastry, followed by some free time to explore this beautiful building further. Strolling through the small squares and alleyways always brings surprises; perhaps take advantage of the local craft shops with their seductive aromas and atmosphere.

The last stop on your experience will be on Agadir’s Corniche, the lively beach-fronted promenade. Here you will enjoy some free time to walk along the sandy beach or purchase a drink in one of the many bars and cafes before re-joining your coach for the return drive to the ship.
