Your experience is a visual, spectacular tradition at Agadir Fantasia, originally known as Lab al Baroud (game of gunpowder) which dates back to the time when battles were fought on horseback. The performance is inspired by these historical wartime attacks of the Berbers and desert knights. The ritual is practised by both Arab and Berber communities throughout Morocco.

In addition to equestrian showmanship, you’ll marvel at Amazigh dancers, snake charming and musical performances.

Departing the port of Agadir, enjoy a scenic drive as you travel towards Agadir Fantasia. Here you will discover the charms of true Moroccan hospitality at the ‘Fantasia Show’ whilst enjoying a Moroccan mint tea and a local pastry.

Following the flamboyant atmosphere of this performance, your next stop is at the bustling walled market of the traditional El Had Souk, a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours with stalls selling the likes of local crafts, woodcarvings, typical ceramics, spices and jewellery. Following a guided introduction, your stop here allows you the opportunity to enjoy some free time to browse the stalls for souvenirs.

Leaving the souk behind, you will have a scenic drive through the main avenues of the city before reaching one of the best viewpoints of Agadir – Oufella Kasbah. Enjoy a photo stop before re-joining your coach for the return drive to the ship.
