This experience is designed for guests who wish to explore Lagos independently, without having to negotiate with taxis or public transport.

Departing the port, you will travel directly to Lagos (an approximately 45min drive), where you will then have approximately 2h30min of free time.

Lagos is a fascinating city situated on the western Algarve coastline. Steeped in a rich maritime history with pristine beaches, authentic Portuguese charm, and with a wealth of stunning architecture and monuments, Lagos is one of the most popular tourist destinations of southern Portugal. Despite its popularity, the city has not succumbed to mass tourism and still retains its distinctive character. Whitewashed buildings stand on cobbled streets where bars and restaurants sit side by side with traditional cafes and family-run shops.

There is a lot to do in Lagos, such as exploring the old town, strolling along the ancient city walls, or visiting the Fort da Ponta da Bandeira, which once protected the harbour mouth.
