This experience is ideally suited to those wishing to see some of the highlights of Ceuta and its surroundings, predominantly from the comfort of a coach and at a leisurely pace.

Your experience will begin with a scenic drive into the hills and up to Monte Hacho, a low mountain that overlooks the city. From here you will have some fantastic views over the strait of Gibraltar and Ceuta. You will also see San Antonio hermitage, a small chapel which is very popular for Ceuta’s inhabitants. You will pass by Benzu, a typical village close to the border with Morocco, from where you will have a view of the impressive ‘Dead Woman’, a mountain that looks like a real woman’ s face and body upon the hills in Moroccan territories.

Your experience continues to the Isabel II viewpoint, where you’ll have a unique look over the magnificent bays, the city, the strait of Gibraltar and of Monte Hacho. At this location also sits the Mosque of Sidi Embarek which is an important place for the Muslim community of Ceuta.

As you head towards the centre of Ceuta, you will stop at Plaza de Africa, a square housing the monument dedicated to those who lost their lives during the African War (1859-1860). Here you will also find the Cathedral, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Africa and the Palace of the Assembly.

Afterwards, you will have the option to return to the ship with your guide, or you can choose to stay in town to explore further and walk back to the ship on your own.
