Tetouan is the Gem of the Rif Mountains and is one of the most beautiful and typical towns of Morocco, located only 40km (25 miles) away from Ceuta.

Your journey will begin with a scenic drive along the coastal road, crossing the border into Morocco before arriving to Tetouan. Upon arrival, you will follow your guide on a walk through the modern part of the town, providing you with an insight to everyday life. As you continue walking, you will reach the old city centre and see the Medina, considered Universal Heritage by UNESCO in 1997. You will pass markets with all kinds of food: fruits, vegetables, herbs, sweet pastry and spices. All products are recently harvested or made. Marvel at the handmade fabrics, clothes and leather goods and get to know how the inhabitants bake their bread.

Following this, enjoy a fresh mint tea or soft drink with delicious Moroccan cookies in a typical restaurant. You will have the opportunity to listen to the exotic music and watch some traditional Moroccan dances during the refreshment break. You will then reboard your coach for the return journey to Ceuta.
