This experience is ideally suited to those wishing to see some of the highlights of Gijon predominantly from the comfort of a coach.

Departing from the pier, your sightseeing drive will wind its way through the city centre and along the seafront to La Providencia viewpoint. At this elevated position, you will have a photo stop to enjoy the wonderful views of Gijon.

Your scenic drive continues to Laboral University, an impressive structure considered to be the largest building in Spain. A short stop will be made in case you wish to disembark from the coach to take a photo.

Your next stop will be at one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of the city – Isabel La Catolica Park. You may wish to join your guide for a leisurely stroll through the park, keeping your eyes peeled for some of its resident birdlife, including peacocks and swans.

At the end of the walk, you will reboard your coach and after a short drive arrive to the Abba Playa Hotel which is the perfect place to enjoy refreshments of typical Spanish tapas, accompanied by local cider, coffee or tea.

Fully refreshed, you will rejoin your coach for the drive back to the pier.
