This experience offers you the opportunity to enjoy some free time at Maspalomas. You can choose how you spend your time, you can take part in activities such as walking up the dunes, relaxing on the famous beautiful beach, shopping and more.

Departing from the port, an approximately 50-minute transfer will take you to the south of the island. Maspalomas Beach stretches 2.7km (1.6 miles) in length and in some places up to 1km (0.6 miles) in width. It is not only known for its enormous field of dunes next to the sea or its great climate, it is also known for its old Lighthouse, which saw the first tourists arrive and has watched this area turn into a holiday resort.

Just a few metres from the promenade, bathers and walkers dive into the sand which marks the start of the Maspalomas Natural Dune Reserve, made up of three eco-systems: Palmeral, Charca and Dunas (Palms, Pond and Dunes) which run parallel a few metres from the sea. The whole area is an enormous natural space.

A few steps from the Maspalomas Palm Tree plantation (Palmeral) you will find the protected natural area, La Charca, which lies between the sea and the sand, providing a resting spot for birds migrating from Europe to Africa.

Afterwards you will reboard your coach for approximately 50-minutes return journey to your ship.
