Your journey begins as you depart from the pier of “Santa Catalina” in Las Palmas to the North Coast of Gran Canaria. You will drive through a typical village on the coastline called San Felipe until you reach the village of Agaete. In its small harbour, Puerto de las Nieves, you will have some time to walk around and admire the great cliffs coast. Depending on the visibility, you may see the highest mountain of Spain: El Teide in Tenerife, which stands 3,718m (12,198ft) high.

Continue your journey into one of the greenest valleys of the island, Valle de Agaete. Here, all kind of plants flourish like papayas, mangos, oranges, lemons, almonds, strelitzias flowers, palm trees, just to name a few.

After a short walk you will visit Finca La Laja, with its wine cellar and garden. You will also enjoy a taste of wine, Canary cheese, Canarian chorizo bread spread, cake and some coffee from the Island, which is the only coffee planted and produced in Europe. Afterwards you will reboard your coach for the return journey to your ship.
