This experience will give you the chance to sunbathe at the most popular beach in Santander on this transfer to El Sardinero!

Your experience will begin with a short scenic drive from the quayside to one of the most famous beaches in Cantabria, El Sardinero. Along the way you will pass by sights such as the beautiful Pereda gardens and Puertochico. At El Sardinero you will have approximately 3 1/2 hours to spend at leisure.

Facing east away from the town centre it comprises two broad, golden sweeps of silky sand each approximately 1km long, divided by a perfectly positioned lookout point.

Find yourself a spot, lay out your towel, relax, and soak up the sun. Perhaps take a dip in the sea or take a stroll along the promenade behind which you can find grand architectural real estate from the early 20th century, such as the beautiful Gran Casino. El Sardinero name refers to the times when sardines were caught in abundance in these waters, and nowadays it has a supreme fame among holidaymakers and surfers.

You will then rejoin your coach for the short return journey to your ship.
