Departing from the pier, a scenic drive will bring you to Valencia’s historical centre where you will commence a guided walk to view some the city’s most notable landmarks whilst experiencing local foods.

One of your first stops will be at Colon Market, a popular food market in a very impressive building. Here you will taste ‘farton’, a type of sweet, elongated sweetbread pastry accompanied by ‘horchata’, a sweet, rice milk beverage. Both are traditional tastes of Valencia.

Continuing your walk, you will head towards La Longa (The Silk Exchange), Valencia's most significant monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, and the Central Market where you will enjoy some free time.

During your walk, your guide will point out many of the magnificent sights including the Round Square, the Cathedral, the Plaza de la Virgen, the Basilica and the Generalitat Palace which is now the headquarters of the Valencia government.

You will make a stop at a local venue in the city centre to taste some local tapas and enjoy a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink.

Fully refreshed you will rejoin your coach for the return journey to the port.
