As you depart from the pier, you’ll head through Tunis city and arrive at the old town inside theMedina. Once you arrive, you’ll begin a guided walk to see the various souks with their spices, perfumes, gold, silver and carpet shops. You will also visit the outside of the great Ez-Zitouna Mosque and from nearby,enjoy great views over the Medina for breathtaking photos. You will be given some free time for independent exploring or negotiating the best deals from the stalls.

Following this very colourful experience, you will rejoin your transport and head towards the Carthage Roman Ruins for a guided sightseeing experience. With many highlights including the Tophet, an ancient sacred area; the Damous Charitatas Church which dates back to the 4th century AD; Punic temple ruins and columns; the enormous Roman Antonine Baths built between 145 to 165 AD; and Byrsa Hill with its sprawling maze of ancient streets and alleyways.

Founded by the Phoenicians and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Carthage is an extensive archaeological site located on a hill dominating the Gulf of Tunis.

To conclude this experience, you will then rejoin your transport for the short drive back to the pier.
