Collecting Nectar Points:

  1. To collect Nectar Points via an online booking, your Nectar card number must be added during the booking journey, before checkout or Nectar and Ambassador accounts are linked. In order to link your accounts, you must be digitally registered with Nectar. If you have a physical Nectar card (non-digitally registered) you can also collect Nectar points on a booking by calling the Ambassador Contact Centre on: 03300 291 794. Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02) and are included in inclusive minutes from landlines and mobiles.
  2. Nectar Points will be issued 14 days after the cruise or flight has returned to its final destination by Nectar Loyalty Ltd. Should your cruise or flight be cancelled, either by you or Ambassador, Nectar points will not be issued. Should your cruise be delayed or disrupted, Nectar points will still be issued within 14 days after the cruise or flight was originally scheduled to return to its final destination.
  3. The maximum amount of Nectar points you can receive per booking is 150,000 Nectar points.
  4. If transferring from one cruise to another, the value of your new booking must remain the same as the original or be higher and will be subject to a £50 administration fee. Nectar Points cannot be collected on the administration fee. The points pending total will be adjusted in line with the new cruise fare value.
  5. Points cannot be collected on Plusgrade bookings.
  6. No points are collected on administration fees.
  7. Collectors may collect points on future cruises booked at the Future Cruise desk onboard our ships.
  8. Where multiple Nectar accounts are linked to a booking, the number of Nectar accounts linked to a booking must be equal to the number of adult guests (18+) travelling in the party.
  9. Points will be equally issued across all linked cardholders, with any remaining points that cannot be divided equally allocated to the lead cardholder.

Spending Nectar Points:

  1. Collectors can spend Nectar points against the deposit or balance of a cruise when booking directly through Ambassador’s website. The minimum spend is 3,500 points in 500-point increments. You can use points towards the amount due for your booking, up to the nearest valid 500‑point increment. It is not possible to pay in points an amount that exceeds your booking value. Nectar collectors with a physical card (non‑digitally registered) card cannot spend Nectar points on a booking. To register for digital Nectar, visit Nectar.
  2. Nectar Points will be deducted immediately at the time of booking.
  3. Only one Nectar account can be used to spend Nectar points against a cruise booking.
  4. If you choose to cancel your booking Ambassadors standard cancellation terms apply (please see this link for full cancellation terms) Ambassador may retain the cash portion of any payment to satisfy cancellation charges before issuing any refund. If the cash element is insufficient, a payment card will be required to satisfy any outstanding cancellation charges. Your Nectar Points will not be refunded. We recommend you check your travel insurance to confirm whether the value of any Nectar Points spent is covered in the event of a cancellation. In the unlikely event that Ambassador has to cancel your booking, any points spent will be manually reversed and returned to your Nectar account.
  5. Should Ambassador cancel your booking, any Nectar points spent on your booking will be refunded to you.
  6. Where Nectar points are used towards a booking, any remaining balance must be paid using an accepted payment method.
  7. You cannot spend points on Ambassador Gift Cards.
