seem to have cut back on staff and their enthusiasm could be looked at too. had to stand and wave to get served which has not been my experience before.
I went for my first ever cruise in June this year with Ambassador. Iwas really not looking forward to cruising. However Ambassador made the whole experiance fantastic from booking ,boarding dining,entertainment , and the crew on board were fantastic. So we have now booked this 39 night cruise and i can truly say i am really looking forward to a great time. Thank you Ambassador for completly changing my perspective of having a cruise vacation.
Website was easy to use, lots of information and could find what I was looking for. Booking was straight forward and I could see cost as I went along. Convenient to be able to book parking at the same time, I saw a discount code on a cruise forum and that worked perfectly. Received confirmation very quickly and just had another confirmation update as I booked following recommendation from my In-laws who go on their first cruise (ever) and will be with Ambassador in November which made me aware of the cruise line. I follow Ambassador on Instagram and I find that great for updates & info. Can’t wait to try them for the first time next Aug, will by our 17th cruise but first with them and going on the Multigenerational to Norway next August so really looking forward to it. Service sounds great and I think they offer things other cruise lines have sadly lost over the years.

The lady on the end of the phone was very patient and understanding when I had trouble with my credit card details. She didn’t rush or panic me. And very clear repeating my details and booking details back to me.

Easy to book, and quick.
I wanted to know what ‘obstructed view’ was for the cabin I booked. Couldn’t find anything on the website. Phoned up to ask and phone answered within a minute. Call handler really helpful. Means view is obstructed by a lifeboat. I upgraded cabin to unobstructed view. Easy to do. Handler was brilliant.
We have cruised with Ambassador since they started . We have taken groups several times and always enjoyed the food, entertainment and all staff aboard have been great, This year however our cruise was cancelled and we took their offer of a similar cruise on the Ambition. Trying to contact them became very difficult for a period of time, 40th in queue and giving up on many occasions. Recently much improved but do miss the group team Debbie and Oliver who was always ready to assist with any problems,

Once I got through on the phone which took some time the service was excellent. I spoke to Lauren who was very helpful and made booking very easy while explaining all I needed to know. Not sure how I will print luggage labels without printer but I am sure there will be a way.
Loved departing from Liverpool! The facillities on board were great, entertainment was awsome,, crew and staff were approachable and superfriendly, very efficient, everyone worked as a team. Food was deliicios with lots of choices. The Faroes were beautiful despite the whale hunt. Iceland was amazing! Would have liked 2 days at Reykjavic, lots to see. I loved my first cruise with Ambassador, everything was straightforward and easy and the ship was squeaky clean!

Ship is old and tired with slight modifications However the food, staff and service was brilliant! Fantastic sailing from Liverpool and will book again if the dates fit Just waiting for the tax to be returned from a purchase in Iceland Trip 7-18th July
Really great experience definitely would recommend it.
I didn't see as much of Iceland as I would have liked ,I didnt feel the shore trips offered by Ambassador were suitable for someone with my mobility. The ship itself was great ,the crew were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every minute on board, the evening entertainment was especially good. I only ate in Borough Market, the food was ok but I especially enjoyed being able to sit outside for my meal. The drinks package was very good, the cocktails were very tempting! I am definitely going with Ambassador again so please keep sailing from Liverpool
Enjoyed the experience on how Icelanders live work and relax. There hot springs were so relaxing, well worth the visit.
More than pleased didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly impressed from getting on ship to getting off highly recommended
The ship, the cabin, the crew, the entertainment, and the food, were all excellent. It was just the weather that wasn't great! I'm hoping to book another solo cruise on board Ambassador Ambition 11th December 2023!

Excellent cruise. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, The entertainment was even better than the theatre’s at home. The staff organised the tables so the you mixed with different people each mealtime. This way you got to know lots of the other passengers. Would highly recommend this company.
the embarkation at Dundee was so easy and convenient for us as we come from Dundee. All the crew were very efficient and polite as were our cabin steward Tom , Waiter PJ and wine waiter Edward. Our cabin was comfortable and the food and choices in the restaurants and buffet was to a very good standard. The excursions were very good and varied and some of the villages were breath taking. We were not aware that there were free shuttle buses in each port which were just as good as some of the excursions. All in all it was an excellent cruise and although there were a few hick-ups on the Maiden voyage these were resolved quickly and we would definitely cruise with Ambition again from Dundee next year
Great cruise. We were very pleased with every aspect of the cruise. Staff and food were very good. The entertainment shows were excellent, very talented team and good variety of shows.
Destination, ports were excellent and reason we chose this cruise. Sadly cruise company did not meet our expectations.

Very keen to get you to book on the phone initially but extremely poor customer service post-booking, giving me no confidence whatsoever in the company's ability to provide a good holiday experience. Emails to 'Guest Services' are repeatedly ignored.

Saw a great deal on offer on a Canary Island cruise booking direct with Ambassador. My cruise consult was courteous and direct and had me booked into a cabin of my choice in no time, I unfortunately we lost the telephone connection before completing the transaction. I range Ambassador a second time got straight onto a second cruise consultant who was able to locate my booking and in no time had my booking completed and all signed up. Great service and lovely cruise consultants Thank You
