Step back in time at Røkenes Manor - a historic gem with origins dating back to the Migration Period (400–600 AD). Once a Viking settlement and later a medieval farm, it became an established homestead in the 1300s. Today, the 10th generation of the Kulseng family continue its legacy, offering visitors a unique glimpse into centuries of tradition, hospitality, and culture.

Begin with a short scenic drive from the pier to Røkenes, where you will be welcomed into a beautifully preserved estate surrounded by scenic landscapes. The visit includes a guided introduction, who will share the fascinating history of the farm and its evolution through generations. During your visit, you can admire art-filled interiors, and savour some homemade local delicacies, including Norwegian waffles served with coffee or tea, prepared with the warmth and care that define this family-run establishment.

After immersing yourself in Norwegian history, culture, and hospitality, rejoin your coach for the short transfer back to Harstad and your awaiting ship.
