Departing from the pier, a short drive brings you to Skaret and its charming restaurant, where you will be invited to savour a tasting of local foods including salmon and potatoes before enjoying some time at leisure to perhaps take a short walk down to the beautiful lake or visit the local craft shop.

Returning to the city, photo stops will be made outside the modern Molde Church and the Town Hall, with its famous larger-than-life bronze statue of the ‘Maiden of the Roses.’

Your journey then continues to Romsdal Open Air Folk Museum, one of Norway’s most comprehensive collections of traditional wooden houses, complete with furnishings and treasures from past times.

After your glimpse in to the past, conclude with a short journey to the Varden viewpoint, 407m (1,335ft) above sea level, where you can get fantastic views of Molde, the fjord, and the islands beyond before returning to your ship.
